➜ Friday Finds & Reader Recommendations – 08-19-2022 <— Plenty of yummy sounding books but TWO for me that SCREAM my name!!! Romance angst and infuriating stuff that make some want to throw their Kindle
(and avoid these stories altogether) but all I hear is "READ ME!!" LOL!!!
Aimee: I’m going to have to read magnolia Parks
And flowers in the attic!! Both sound right up my alley!!
Maryse: OMG AIMEEEEEEE!!!! Flowers in the Attic is a MUST!!!! Wow I’m jealous of you to be starting that one.
bev: Apparently the cover of Magnolia Parks makes sense after you read it. That the images relate to the story.
I gave in and one clicked even though people keep saying they wanted to throw it at the end, but also loved it. I mean that is usually not my type of book.
Maryse: You know me… I love the feeling of wanting to throw my Kindle. THAT’S when I know I’m invested, heart and
soul!
Kim: Okay Broken Play was good. I wanted to slap someone 😂. PenPal by JT Gessinger was AMAZING. The ending had me 😮😮😮 A must read.
Just grabbed Magnolia Park. I’ll jump into that and see how angtsy it is 😬
Maryse: OMG KIM!!! PenPal is calling me too. You 'n me have the same "kindle throwing" book taste!!
➜ Reader Questions <— As usual, I’m getting so many of these (and loving them) that I’m thinking of posting a few every single day (as well as my usual scheduled blog posts) to catch up. What do y’all think? So many new questions (some solved and many unsolved - you can view them per those categories, too :) ) Wanna play guess the book with us? This is one of my favorite sections. So many new ones to read (even if it's not the right guess... we end up with a nice "genre/trope" list.)
