➜ Friday Finds & Reader Recommendations – 04-21-2023 <— IT'S READY! So many goodies on here (from authors like Louise Bay, Willow Aster, Parker S. Huntington, Mariah Dietz, and more!!)

Carly: So..I’m not one to cry when reading books (not often, like I tear up but don’t actually cry, ya know?) But this book..I’m only 50% in and I am BAWLING. I’m just…I’m a mess. So far it is so so beautifully written. Of course if anyone has read it they’ll know it’s heartbreaking (again I’m only 50% in) but never have I ever read a book and NOT wanted it to end. Ever. Never ever.

 

Nancy: If you love a story with an older male, protective to the extreme about his younger mate, then you will want to read Vaughn & Lily’s short story.

This one's about a movie star, and here's a "fun fact": 

 

In writing this novel, the author had consulted a Californian lawyer on a subject of conservatorship.

 

Another fun fact? Sure!

 

The author had to tread carefully in legal terms for using a real movie star’s name as a character in the novel. <---- OH YAH!!!

➜ Book Review – Mothered: A Novel by Zoje Stage <— 4 STARS (CREEPY & FUN!! HER MOM MOVES IN WITH HER DURING THE PANDEMIC & THEY ALREADY HAVE A STRAINED RELATIONSHIP...) Lots of real life things that we all went through when the world closed down, completely relatable. And very claustrophobic. Everyone on edge and stressed, for good reason. But… in Grace’s case, maybe other reasons too. ;) 

Gisele: I just bought it… can’t wait to recharge my Kindle and read it ! 
 

Katelynn: Baby teeth was one of the scariest but amazing books I've ever read. Haven't read this one yet by her
